I grew up in Tirupur, the textile hub of India, surrounded by factories, fabrics, and the hum of sewing machines. Coming from a family deeply rooted in apparel production, I spent my early years inside factories, learning firsthand how clothes are made at scale. Later, moving to New York City, I experienced the other side of the industry: brands struggling with demand forecasting, excess inventory, warehousing costs, and broken supply chains. Living both ends of the spectrum—from the factory floor in India to the brand’s side in the U.S.—I realized the system was outdated and wasteful. That’s why I built Spade: a platform designed to connect real-time demand directly with supply, cutting out inefficiencies and aligning production with actual customer needs. My vision is simple yet ambitious: to power a cloud-based, zero-inventory future for every brand.
